Pre-Arrival Procedure

Advance passenger/ crew lists for CARICOM:

Advance vessel arrival notification to be sent Agent 48hrs prior to arrival

Advance Health Declaration - Health Declaration Protocol – to be sent to parties listed 24hrs prior to arrival

Arrival Clearance Documentation

The vessel is boarded once alongside, and all-fast.

The vessel is boarded by: (1) Port Health, (1) Customs, (1) Immigration officer, (2) port Agents.

The approximate time from vessel boarding to ‘Free Pratique’ is approximately 10 minutes.

Ship produced format/ forms are accepted.

Permission request to wash/Paint/lower Boat should be addressed to the ‘Comptroller of Customs’.

Permission request to carry out ‘Hot Work/Welding’ should be addressed to the ‘Harbour Master’.

Paperwork should be printed, signed, stamped and separated as listed below:

Immigration

  • Information Sheet/ Ship’s Particulars - 1 Copy
  • Ports Of Call List (indicating the last ten ports and dates) - 1 Copy
  • Crew Nationality Breakdown - 1 Copy
  • Crew on Arrival List - 4 Copies
  • Disembarking Crew List - 2 Copies (Where applicable)
  • Passenger Nationality Breakdown -

Customs

  • Clearance from Last Port
  • Information Sheet - 1 Copy
  • Ports Of Call List (indicating the last ten ports and dates) - 3 Copies
  • Crew Nationality Breakdown - 1 Copy
  • Crew on Arrival List - 2 Copies
  • Disembarking Crew List - 2 Copies (Where applicable)
  • Passenger Nationality Breakdown -

Health

  • International Health Declaration - 1 Copy
  • Information Sheet/ Ship’s Particulars - 1 Copy
  • Ports Of Call List (indicating the last ten ports and dates) - 1 Copy
  • Crew Nationality Breakdown - 1 Copy
  • Crew on Arrival List - 1 Copy
  • Disembarking Crew List - 1 Copy (

BPI Security

  • Arrival crew list (signed/stamped by immigration officer verifying that crew are free to go ashore) - 1 Copy

Immigration Formalities

Disembarking Passengers must declare passports in person with completed Immigration Forms and confirmed flight details at vessel clearance.

Disembarking Crew do not have to present their passport in-person, the Crew Purser should bring their passport with fully completed Immigration Form (filled/ signed by the crew) and confirmed flight with details to present to the Immigration officer during vessel clearance.
